Administration Denounces 'Democratic Fabrication' as More Jeffrey Epstein Images Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have made public a new tranche of what they described as "alarming" pictures from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—some of which have been previously circulated—combined with another 70 unveiled later on Friday constitute a tiny fraction of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is examining the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking offenses.

Notable Figures in the Images

Included in the prominent personalities shown in the initial batch are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are redacted.

Administration Reaction

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the images for political purposes and to "try and create a false narrative."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a White House spokesperson remarked, insisting that "this presidency has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for transparency, making public reams of documents, and calling for more inquiries into Epstein's liberal connections."

Congressional Democrat Remarks

The photos were released without context, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with wealthy individuals.

"Now is the occasion to end this White House cover-up and secure justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a statement.

The publication of these images comes as the oversight committee pressing on with its probe into the affair.
